Wen Xing

Xing Wen 邢文 is Specially Appointed Professor and Associate Dean of the School of Humanities at Southwest Jiaotong University. Currently he is the Robert 1932 and Barbara Black Professor in Asian Studies at Dartmouth College and Director of The Dartmouth Institute for Calligraphy and Manuscript Culture in China. The author of Research on the Silk Manuscript Zhouyi (Beijing, 1997), Written on Bamboo and Silk: Thought and Schools in Early China (Taipei, 2005), and Dao, Neo-Confucian Principle, and Chan Buddhism in Chinese Calligraphy and Painting (Beijing, 2014), etc., he publishes extensively on Chinese art, excavated manuscripts and Confucian cultures.
