Zeng Zhenyu is a Taishan Scholar in Confucianism Studies. After receiving his 1984 PhD from Shandong University, he holds important positions in the Advanced Institute of Confucian Studies, Shandong University, the China Philosophy History Association of the Institute of Zengzi Stuides, the International Confucian Association, China pre-Qin History Society, Chinese Confucian Academy, Chinese Mozi Academy, etc. Professor Zeng is a visiting scholar of University of Connecticut (2006.6-2007.6), National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (2013.2-2013.4), and also Daito Bunka University (2013.1). His research interest lies in Confucianism and Chinese intellectual history. He had already published more than 100 pieces of academic article in journals such like Historical Research and Philosophical Research. Moreover, Professor Zeng also is the sole author of fifteen books (like New Interpretation on the Four Books, New Interpretation on Chun Qiu Fan Lu, and Confucian Ethics Studies in the Twentieth Century), the coauthor of eleven books, the principal investigator of five series of research books.
