Mission
- To help students find relevance of Chinese thought and value in the contemporary world and in their daily life.
- To facilitate students’ understanding of the roots and gist of Chinese culture and their appreciation of Chinese cultural heritage.
- To conduct quality research in Chinese culture topics, particularly those informed by Chinese history and philosophy, and those by social customs and institutions in the Pan-Pearl River Delta region.
- To promote better learning and teaching of Chinese culture in application-oriented universities and colleges.
