簡介

徐啟軒博士畢業於香港大學,後赴美國哥倫比亞大學深造。加入香港理工大學前,徐博士曾在澳大利亞國立大學服務,擔任中華全球研究中心博士後研究員。

徐博士專攻近現代史,尤其關注二十世紀中國右翼和左翼的革命政治及文化動員。他的英文專書《中國的保守革命:追尋新秩序,1927-1949》(按閱讀作者訪問)研究國民黨清共後的民眾動員策略、自由主義知識份子的文化政治,以及右翼大亞洲主義的理論和實踐。徐博士正在開展一系列研究項目,探討作為亞洲區域事件的「新中國」誕生,整理1950年代初期印度民族主義份子和亞洲的基督徒如何理解人民共和國。
